Damn, Bugger and Blast, AKA Pop Goes The Graphics Card

So there I am, last night, having just patched Eve Online and just pottering about on two of the accounts, when all of a sudden the monitors go blank and shut down.  Yes, both of them, simultaneously, and with no error messages or warnings whatsoever.  Dead screens

Bugger indeed, a fake graphics card is bad enough, but one thats nailed in place? ;)

There may have been some shouting of "Wake up Polly" going on in the vain hope it was only sleeping. However it was pushing up the daisies already.

it was an ex. graphics card. It has ceased to be.

Still at least it didn't come at you with a loaded banana.
