ok, so yesterday was probably one of the worst days in a long long time...

a few days ago i noticed Samantha (my kitty) had a very large bump on her neck and it freaked me out, but there was nothing i could do right then, because it was the weekend. So i told myself id watch it and see if it would go down on its own. But then the next day when i went to go put a new flea collar on, it was broken and was oozing all over

It's strange how it takes something tragic to make us realize how much we are attached to something. I had my cat for only 1 1/2 years, and when I had to give her up because AJ is allergic it was pretty tough. And that was only having her for 1 1/2 years... if you've had this cat for 18 years then that has got to be really tough. I'm glad your mom helped you out though and you were able to get the surgery done. And smuggling cats into an apartment isn't very difficult, cause by law landlords have to give you 24 hour notice before they enter. So if your landlord doesn't, and sees the cat, they're at fault. So keep that in mind when you talk to your roommates, and good luck with your kitty :)
