his skills learned in the courts of Europe just didn't match the backwoods people

i'd love to read his journals
being a part of things from the revolution through 2 subsequent wars to the struggle for freedom of the enslaved
WOW a man of his intelligence experience and skills
it seems impossible that one man could encompass all of that

and we put Jackson on the $20 bill
we are still too young
we want braun over brains
even if now the braun is just bluster
