Everett Frederic Morrow was the first African American to hold an executive position at the White House. You're welcome. Morrow made history, even though he never had any real power. Ike was mad at him when he wrote his book, mostly because Ike believed that what happens in the White House stays in the White House. He would go ballistic if he saw what goes on today in that regard.
