So, entirely unrelated to Andrew...

IIRC, you're a bit of an expert on ancient China, yeah? I assume that means you also have some knowledge of general Asian history, too?

I ask because my "real" writing project (the Epic Fantasy Novel of Doom) involves a culture derived from 15th-century Japan (or something like that--not 100% sure, yet). I'm going to be starting up work on it again in a few weeks when my job contract ends, and I'd love a chance to bounce a few ideas off of you, if you don't mind my tugging your professional ear.

Yes, my major was in Asian Studies(broad brush) so I do have some knowledge of Japan. Mostly Feudal Japan. Which would work in nicely with your 15th Century timeline. Edo is my favourite period during that time. I would love to help in any way possible, just let me know what you need.

I'm glad you finally got you action figure, I'm thinking of trying to get one my self.

Too bad though that they aren't going to do series 3 or even the new series action figures. Maybe if they get renewed interest they will make new ones.
