you see Gwyn, not everyone can be as happy as us, but they can be happy and in love in their own way. Makes me want to punch the guy. Not everyone has the same ideals. What makes you happy doesn't necessarily make someone else happy. The idea that their happiness is somehow greater than Hermione and Ron's is insanely arrogant.
It kind of feels like they're saying "the old traditions of getting married right away are stupid, so we're going to go with the new trend of living together before we marry just in case it doesn't work out." On top of this, this is from a person who was horribly jealous of her sister and is now with some creep who liked her since she was twelve and she's throwing a tantrum insisting it isn't creepy at all.
I'm confused. Oliver Wood who's main priority seemed to be Quidditch fell for Hermione's twin sister--who was twelve at the time. I don't blame Hermione for being creeped out. Also, she apparently gets on Hermione for "flaunting" her smarts---which, what? Is Hermione just supposed to act dumb for Gwyn's benefit? And yet, Oliver sounds so full of himself.
