Oh my goodness! Awesome article dude! Many thanks, However I am going through difficulties with your
RSS. I don't understand why I cannot subscribe to it. Is there anyone else getting similar RSS issues?

Possibly. I'll still pose the question in case it is something someone else can read, because there is an RSS thread for each Live Journal. As I said, I don't use RSS.

I don't get why her last name is "Lotus", as that is a plant native to Asia. If her parents are proud of their heritage, then they would likely not change their name to it. Similarly, if she has roots in Asia, they probably would have probably rolled with their ancestor's language equivalent than translate to English.

I never questioned why her last name was Lotus because I knew that there are varieties of Lotus native to North America, let alone other plants which are called Lotus within North America. I didn't question the English words in her name as that's also common place among some native cultures, as names are sacred, and it affords them spiritual protection.
