Of course it just happens to be O, O, O, O. Not even Hermione got them all perfect. And what's this about music? Music? At Hogwarts?! They don't have Music at Hogwarts, my dear. Someone has to read the books a little more carefully.

Hogwarts actually does have music classes. However, this complete straight O's is ridiculous particularly after it becomes clear that she was taking extra classes. When? No, seriously... when? We don't see Jessica ever taking the extra classes or practicing her music until it is convenient to pretty much brag about how perfect she is to the reader. I doubt the writer intended it to be that way, but still. Also, why would the teachers give special lessons to a student?

Actually... the fact she's even more special then Hermione is also problematic and I doubt the writer actually knows what it is like to have a photographic memory. The Sues also apparently got the most extreme case which also has some very negative side effects to this. One of them can be panic attacks, but the Sue only has a panic attack once so far and it wouldn't have been something that went away when she was little. These panic attacks are caused by sensory overload. Even some people with lesser photographic memory can get them.

I'm sorry... but I really think the writer is giving her Sue traits that she wants to have without really understanding what these traits entail. The arts in particular aren't something a true artist would take a break from when they're sad. Most true artists actually go and use their art medium no matter what it is as a form of release. They're more likely to not put any effort into their art if they actually work in multiple art forms or if they're sick. I personally have to work on something creative every day or I go nuts. It's not always the same thing mind you, and sometimes it just involves research but I'm constantly doing something ( ... )
