An inherent problem that any fic that pulls Katniss into a modern world is going to be the way she sees it. Hogwarts is practically decadent compared to how she's lived most of her life. We've seen how she responds to actually being given everything she needs. If Katniss ended up in Hogwarts, she'd be wanting to go hunt in the Forbidden Forest.

Also, if Peeta and Katniss can't perform magic, why bother sorting them? For that matter, I'm pretty sure a muggle couldn't fly a broom.

Katniss getting in trouble for wanting to hunt in the Forbidden Forest would make for a funny one-shot.

How about the question of how they can actually see Hogwarts as it is supposed to look like a bunch of ruins to non-magical folk.

Really, I should have said "hurdle" rather than problem. If used properly, Katniss's antisocial nature could add a lot to a story.

And I'd be willing to accept that anybody teleported in to the castle would be able to see it.

I'd be willing to accept that, too. I think it's implied that once a Muggle knows about something, unless they have their memory erased, they'll be able to see the place and visit. After all, we've seen times when Hermione's parents are on Diagon Alley, which is supposed to be hidden from Muggles. So it stands to reason the same would go for Hogwarts as well.

Actually, pottersues, I'm fairly certain that Luna found Harry in the movies, but it was Tonks in the books.

That's true indeed. It was Tonks.
