Actually on topic, I am really, really impressed with this. Go Hufflepuff Pride!

Great, something about the juxtaposition of "Dr. Seuss" and "snitch" means I can't stop thinking about the Sneeches. Star-bellied and otherwise.

This is the first time I'm actually happy to see a Sue. Good writing and no Hufflepuff-bashing. Finally, Hufflepuff gets some well-deserved respect.

Yay badgers! *squeeks badger plushie*

Gasp, I agree, I'd never believe there was a Goyle Sue out there, much less a good one. But G attempting to make compliments is kind of... sweet, as well as a great way of giving character detail. :)

And on the subject of "Notes"--are you kidding? One of my favorite quotes in reference to fanfic comes from the notes on whats'erhame-- you know, the chick who was "heir to the Slytherin thrown"-- the "excuse me while I refuse to get over this" quote.

So, yeah, gratuitous Dr. Seuss reference: I suppose finding good Sues is like picking a peck of snide in a dark and gloomy snide-field that was almost nine miles wide. Or perhaps it's more like finding the pair of pale-green pants with nobody inside 'em within that nine-mile-wide field. :)
