(toxic)

FULL NAME: Cathryn Joanne Lim

ORIGIN: Australia. The Ministry now allows the Commonwealth to send students to Hogwarts! Score! I'm waiting for my letter now!
CONNECTIONS TO CANON: She is in sixth year. She has an elemental connection to Harry: "He and I are connected in a away stronger than magic. It’s almost like the elements are pulling me to him." You know who says stuff like that? Stalkers. He is her "perfect mate". She is in Ravenclaw. She hates Cho Chang because Cho thought she was weak, and because "the fact that Cathryn came from an extremely powerful and rich Korean family as oppose to Cho’s Chinese heritage. That spoke for itself, really". Well, that sounds awfuly racist. Then she goes over to show off how awesome she is to Ron, Ginny and Hermione, while explaining to all three her abilties. She gets into a bitch fight with Cho. Then she is with Harry, and then she randomally faints and some other Mary-Sue Mages show up and I gave up reading because the Sparklypooness was overwhelming me. I needed smelling salts.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Her animagus is a swan, her element is fire, and she an "animal whisperer". She can talk to unicorns. She knows advanced magic for her year. She is a "humantarian" and cares about everyone. Knows wandless magcic and many mage abilities. She is a fire mage.

NOTES: Ok. The only reason why I selected this story was for the summary: "FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HATE THIS STORY, READ THE DAMN 6TH CHAPTER AND SHUT UP! I AM TIRED OF GETTING HATE MAIL! GET OVER IT! IT'S A STORY! IT HAS TAKEN ME 4 YEARS! THE NEXT PERSON WHO SENDS ME HATE MAIL WILL BE BANNED! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!" Also, we are sraight out told that the Sue is based on the Suethor, "flaws" and all.

SAMPLE:

It had been a full month after the whole Cathryn verses Cho and kicks her ass, big time. And yet, people still talked about it, like it was new news.

Although she didn’t hang around, Cathryn heard that Cho was in the ring of fire for 20 minutes before teachers noticed and put the fire out with their wands.

“You’d think, after a month, that people would get bored of the whole topic, but somehow, it keeps on reappearing.” Cathryn spoke in a very bored voice one morning from her seat with Adriana, Helen, Ron, Hermione, Harry and Ginny on the Gryffindor table.

Cathryn, Adriana and Helen sat at the Gryffindor table for their meals since none of them had the desire to see Cho’s simpering face and her friend’s glares. Besides, most of their friends were in Gryffindor anyway, even more so after the fight.

The others nodded, even Harry.

Harry had finally begun to speak 3 weeks prior, just a week after the fight and he had come to know Cathryn quite well. He, secretly in his heart and mind, had a major crush and there was a weird magnetic pull towards the couple every time they talked and when one accidentally touched the other, fire jolted up and down their bodies but unlike normal fire, it was heart warming, connecting fire.

“It’s not everyday that people engulf themselves, voluntarily at that too, in fire and make a ring around someone which lasted 20 minutes.” Harry raised his eyebrows, a small grin appearing.

“Be that as it may, Harry, but this happened a freaking month ago! She called me a freak and I called her brainless bimbo, brainless because she traded it for a good fuck!” Cathryn slammed both her hands down onto the table with a loud thud, her eyes flashing as they mapped out her frustration, her pain and anger.

“Cho is, potentially, the next Ravenclaw Quidditch captain. She is very popular, even more so with her sleeping around. She was the school’s Asian girl, until you turned up with a multi-billion galleon businesswoman mother and the head of Universal Quidditch father, an ex-seeker himself. She had a point to be angry.” Hermione spoke gently, scoffing at the end.

In response, Cathryn just smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

“Is it my fault that Dumbledore happens to be a personal friend of both mom and dad? And besides, my parents are who they are and my siblings and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Money is no object to me. Friendship and happiness are what I cherish the most.” Cathryn smiled wryly, drinking her tea carefully, gazing at the others over the top of the rim.

“Money and power can be gained but the only thing constant in this world are family and friends.” Harry spoke gently, startling everyone around him who were all thinking very hard. Well, that is everyone save Cathryn.

“Exactly. The world is full of intriguing mysteries that must be found out as soon as possible. But, there will always be new things to be found out all the time. The only two constants, universal constants mind you, are family and friends. Nothing else besides those two are ever constant.” Cathryn’s eyes sparkled happily, her smile wide and 1000 genuine.

“Not even love?” Harry questioned slightly cautiously. He knew he was going to regret this but, what the hell? You only lived once.

Cathryn frowned gently, her brows furrowing in such a way Harry found extremely cute for a female. Or for anyone really.

“Love is…Love is a feeling, an emotion that is extremely hard to describe with words. Usually, it is expressed by giving and receiving of gifts, no matter how small. The most common was to express love is in a very physical way. Although it is a universal emotion, one cannot label love as a universal constant.” Cathryn’s eyes widened. Although she knew she was and would always be Harry’s perfect mate, she was scared shitless. The very idea of spending the rest of her life with Harry James Potter, as well as being very frightening, would be indescribable and unable to predict.

The other gazed at Cathryn with mixed emotions rushing down their faces, especially Harry himself. He trusted his own instincts and feelings, often without having considered the factors and other people’s emotions.

“I’m sorry, Cathryn. That was clearly out of your league to answer that question…” Harry started to say but he was cut off by Cathryn’s smile.

“No… It wasn’t. There’s nothing to be sorry about, Harry. Human inevitability.” Cathryn smiled easily back.

Jack shit it’s human inevitability! Who am I fooling? Just tell the damn guy already! Cathryn chastised herself angrily. Keeping her own secret was hard enough but she wasn’t going to let those secrets slip so easily.
