0112: Seeing Everything - Usagi Tsukino

TITLE: Seeing Everything

ORIGIN: She goes to Hogwarts to investigate the murder of Draco Malfoy? Why? Why, indeed. Apparently this is just something she 'has to do'. The other Scouts were very upset to see her go.
CONNECTIONS TO CANON: Is the only one who can see Draco's ghost. Judging from a bit of heavy-duty foreshadowing, she's going to fall in love with him and bring him back to life by sacrificing half her soul.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: She sees dead people.

Hi everyone. I am getting to 'Moving On' and 'Finding Her Father', don't worry. I just read a really great book and it gave me an idea that I have to write up.
Anyway, the summary is this: Draco Malfoy is a ghost. He was savagely murdered in his sixth year at Hogwarts. No one knows how it happened and no one seems to really want to find out.
Usagi Tsukino can see ghosts; to her they are as real as the living. She can touch, speak to, and deal with them as well as if they were living. This also means that she can get hurt by them.
What happens when Usagi meets the ghost of Draco when she stumbles into a lattice work of puzzles and secrets that some people wanted hidden forever. Will Usagi be the key to un-locking the secrets behind the death of Malfoy, or will she bring on her own destruction.

"I know what I want to do, and you guys can't stop me from doing it," Usagi stated to her senshi for the last time.
"But Usa, what if there is an attack here while you are doing this?!" Rei demanded, hoping that she could get her best friend to reconsider.
"Yes, what if there is an attack, we will need you if such a thing should occur," Ami put in, also trying to get her friend to stay.
"Yes Usagi, I mean I was okay on my own for a while as Sailor V. but things change and I don't think I could handle it if we were attacked," Minako tried sadly to convince her cousin to stay.
"There has not been an attack for years at this point, I need to do this. I don't expect you guys to go along with it, but oh well. This is my choice, goodbye, I will miss you all so much" Usagi replied, hugging her long-time friends and then picking up her bag, then she was gone, doing what she knew she needed to do. Silver residue was all that marked the place where the princess had stood before.
Rei broke down and sobbed into her arms as Minako and Ami tried to comfort her and Makoto started baking cookies. Things were going to change and all the girls knew it. Rei's last fire reading had shown her a vision and now they knew it was coming true. Things with the Sailor Senshi were never going to be the same again. ________________________________________________________________________
"I can't believe he's really dead, I kept expecting him to pop up out of no where at any moment. I mean, this is heaven on earth without him, too bad he had to die though," Ron remarked as he and Harry walked towards the great hall.
"Yeah, but hey, life is great without Malfoy," Harry agreed with his friend.
"My god you two, how can you be so heartless about it. Draco only died three weeks ago and you are already celebrating. Don't you two remember, he was MURDERED," Hermione reminded them. Ron and Harry didn't look her way though; they instead made their way into the Great Hall.
As the trio made their way into the hall, they realized at once that Dumbledor was not at the staff table and that neither were Professors Snape and McGonagall. Thinking nothing of it at first, the trio took their seats and began eating lunch.

That night the school was eating dinner when Dumbledor and the other professors finally made an appearance, with them was a young woman who looked as though she was of foreign blood. Which, they found out, she was.
"I would like everyone to welcome Usagi Tsukino she is from a school in Japan called Yokata. Due to the fact that Yokata shut down, Usagi will now be attending here with all the rest of you," Dumbledor announced, then McGonagall sat Usagi on the old stool and then slipped the hat on her head.
"This is taking forever," Ron muttered under his breath as five minutes ticked by, slowly turning into seven, then eight.
Finally the hat spoke, "I have never had such a hard time placing a student, however I make my decision. You will be in Slytherin, because you will need their guidance in what awaits you."
Usagi stepped away from the stool and sat the hat down, and then she went and took a seat at the end of the Slytherin table. Instead of getting food though, Usagi began to write on a piece of parchment. The hall soon filled with the normal noise and buzz of dinner time and Usagi continued writing, oblivious to the fact that five people in the hall were eyeing her warily.
Dear Rei,
I miss you already. Don't worry, I will come home and visit whenever I can, please don't get too stressed. Let Makoto and the others know that I miss them as much as I miss you. I can't wait to hear about the wedding with Haruka and Micheru. I know that they wanted to wait for me to come home, but they will enjoy it anyway. Let little Hotaru know that I love her and miss her as well, and don't let Yurichiro get on your nerves too much, after all, I won't be there to help beat on him with a broom. ^-^ Take good care of your dearest Mamo-chan and don't get married without telling me so I can show up! If you see Setsuna, please tell her that I want her to be careful when she leaves the gates unguarded.

Usagi set the letter aside and then got up to follow her fellow Slytherin's to the dormitories. Grabbing her bag, Usagi slipped the note into her journal and then got ready to begin her mission.
