0069: The Brain, The Reject, and the... - Lily Evans, Amelia Darcy, and Trina Candide

Jun 12, 2003 19:55

And so DracoFan626 week ends without really having been a week, since she took down her last Sue before I could get to it. But don't worry... there are still plenty of Sues to go around!

 WRITING:
 SUEAGE:
 WRONGNESS:

FULL NAME: Lily Evans, Amelia Darcy, and Trina Candide
SPECIES: Human/Witches
HAIR: Lily's is 'long, fiery red hair'. Lia's is a 'disheveled black bob'. Trina's 'long, wavy brown hair cascaded over her shoulders nearly down to her tiny waist'.

The ripped bottom of the shirt fell just above the top of a short, black pleated skirt. Beneath the skirt, black fishnet stockings covered her pale legs, and her feet were covered with the usual heavy black combat boots.' Yeah, the 'Avril Lavigne' look was, like, so popular in the fucking 70's, people. 9.9

ORIGIN: Planet Sue.
CONNECTIONS TO CANON: Lily appears to be Harry's mother back when a pod person was inhabiting her body... not sure about her friends, there.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: none so far.

NOTES: Okay, see, it works like this: Lily is the 'Brain', Trina the 'Reject' and Lia the 'Bitch from Hell', and they inhabit a Hogwarts that looks oddly like the average teen movie. I can see the blurb on the back of the DVD case:

Lily (Alyson Hannigan), Trina (Alexis Bledel), and Lia (Avril Lavigne in her movie debut!) are Hogwarts High's resident losers; the brain, the reject, and the bitch from hell. But when they accidentally meet up with the three most popular boys in school, James (Elijah Wood), Sirius (Freddie Prinze Jr), and Remus (Erik von Detten), it's a classic case of opposites attract! What will happen when the cheerleading captian, Roxy Delgado (Katie Holmes) finds out about this development? Get ready for wacky highschool hijinx in The Brain, the Reject, and the Bitch from Hell!

SAMPLE:

“Hey…Lia? Lia? Li! Get up!” a voice sounded as a small, thin girl was awoken from her slumber. She groggily opened her icy blue eyes and ran a hand through her disheveled black bob of hair. She looked up to find her friend Lily looking expectantly down at her.

Lily’s long, thin arms were resting on her hips. Her emerald green eyes peered down her little freckled nose at her friend and a stray strand of long, fiery red hair fell across her pale face.

“That’s the third time I’ve tried to wake you, Li. Get up!” Lily said, adjusting her blue cardigan over her white t-shirt.

“No…just give me another minute,” Lia grumbled, rolling over.

“AMELIA DARCY! UP! NOW!” Lily shouted, using her friend’s full name as she ripped the sheets off of her guest room bed.

Lia shook her head, giving up, and sat up, swinging her too-short legs over the side of the bed.

“That’s better. Now get dressed. You’ve got half an hour until we leave for the train station,” Lily said, turning to go.

Lia rolled her eyes at her friend and got up. Lying on top of her large, black school trunk was her outfit, brush, and jewelry. After she had dressed, she checked the mirror, satisfied.

Her very petite frame (for a 17 year old) was dressed accordingly. She wore a dark purple t-shirt with a picture of a banshee on the front. The ripped bottom of the shirt fell just above the top of a short, black pleated skirt. Beneath the skirt, black fishnet stockings covered her pale legs, and her feet were covered with the usual heavy black combat boots. She clipped in two pairs of silver earrings and brushed out her jet-black hair. It was clipped with purple barrettes with two front pieces hanging artfully into her eyes. Lia grinned a small smile at her reflection and popped down to the kitchen, dragging her trunk behind her.

Lily’s mother, Natalie Evans, greeted her with a friendly smile.

“G’morning, Lia,” she said cheerfully, handing her a piece of toast and a travel-cup of orange juice.

“Thanks, Nat,” Lia said politely.

“Come on, now. Lils is already in the car, fretting about being late,” Natalie said, rolling her eyes at the behavior of her younger daughter.

“Well, she’s just nervous about being head girl. Don’t worry about her,” Lia remarked as they rushed out the door.

Lily was a bit of what you could call a perfectionist. But she was an exceptionally intelligent perfectionist, and it singled her out. No one at Hogwarts really took the time to get to know her; they just wrote her off as a brain or a geek and didn’t bother. Except Lia. Lia was what would be known as a rebel at school. She was loud, witty, clever, and she hated the rules. She normally went out of her way to irritate the teachers. She was a real laugh, and Lily was sure that if the popular crowd didn’t despise her, Lia would fit in very well with them.

The popular crowd. There were the four boys and the 5 girls. The boys were really alright…well, generally. They wouldn’t associate with people the girls disliked (i.e. Lia and Lily), but they weren’t openly obnoxious. Lily and Lia thought they were very funny, almost like roles in a play. There was James Potter, star of the Gryffindor quidditch team. James was a tall, gangly, quidditch chaser. He had a messy mop of black hair that would never lie flat, a pair of sparkling brown eyes hidden behind black spectacles, and a mischievous attitude. He came from a very old wizarding family, but never mentioned it. Then there was his main counterpart, Sirius Black, the resident Hogwarts charmer, having dated nearly every girl in the school (and not ashamed to admit it). Standing even taller than James, he was tan and built with long, shaggy black hair, black eyes that twinkled roguishly, and a 100- watt smile. There was also Remus Lupin, the soft-spoken of the four, but they knew that whatever he said must be very witty, due to the gales of laughter from James and Sirius after Remus made comments during dinner. He was pale and often looked sickly. He had very light brown hair and big, sad gray eyes. Last there was little Peter Pettigrew, the tagalong of the group. People thought he was only with the guys because they felt bad for him and he slept in their dorm. He was short and pudgy with a beaky nose, watery black eyes and a head of thin brown hair.

The boys were all in Gryffindor, and the resident pranksters of Hogwarts. They only had competition with Lia- who played equal or better pranks than them by herself (or with the occasional help of her friends).

It was the group of girls that was really dangerous to the misfits. Or rather, the one dangerous girl and her four cronies. This girl’s name was Roxanne Delgado. She was a rich, snobby girl from Ravenclaw. She kept one boyfriend- a buff Hufflepuff with more biceps than brains named Robert Jenkins- but it was common knowledge that she cheated on him whenever she felt like it. Roxy Delgado was a real tramp. She could get any guy in the school and she knew it. She was tall and blonde with tanned skin and large red lips. She had big brown eyes and a very curvy figure.

But Lily and Lia knew the inside scoop on Roxy through one of her former cronies- their only other friend, Trina Candide. Trina had been “friends” with Roxy up until 3rd year, even though they were in different houses. Trina was thrown out of the group when she refused to play a cruel joke on a first year and Roxy and her mean friends had been tormenting poor Trina ever since.

Lia had been the first to defend Trina, which is how they became friends. Lia had a temper hotter than a lighter on top notch and she gave Roxy a black eye for beating down on Trina. Because Trina was the last person to deserve anything like that, she was a veritable angel. Quiet, reserved, clever and gentle, Trina was the first to comfort anyone if they were down, even if she hardly knew them. Lia took the position that it’s just plain wrong to hurt someone so nice to everybody. And Lia would not stand for it. It was her temper and intolerance at things like that which helped her come to be known as the bitch from hell.

And so we continue with our story: the Brain, the Reject, and the Bitch from Hell.
