ironychan tells me she's working on another Sue shirt... which, unlike my pathetic text-only efforts, will have an actual illustration on it. So watch this space.

'As it was summer and magic was forbidden, she could not charm her hair into a neat chignon as she did at school and the wispy blond strands kept escaping to tickle the back of her neck.'
She could still use the hair potion that Hermione used in GoF. *scoffs*
And Alan Nott? That is not Nott's first name. It's Theodore. Amateur.

Blaise snorted. “It had a good look inside our heads first year. That hat sorted Voldemort. I doubt much can shock it.”
Hooray for respecting the Hat!

I hate to snark on it so early (I lie), but isn't that how you're supposed to sort your notes? I refuse to believe she's so neat and special that she's the only one who will sort her notes by *gasp* date and subject.
Their favorite game was to call anothers next move and watch the subject act as they predicted. How exactly does that work? You can predict reactions to controlled situations, but unless you have a clear idea on what situations the subject is going to be put into it's kind of hard. And, this being the beginning of sixth year and the beginning of a war, situations are bound to be unpredictable ( ... )

If new prefects are selected each year (either by switching the students who are prefects, or by electing two entirely new prefects making four sixth year prefects for each house), surely the previous prefects (either way, the ones who were elected in fifth year) would have been mentioned? If that's how the author was thinking, she could've easily put in a quick "Oh, I hope I'm selected again", or not mentioned the fact that all the other students their age (which are all the students we know to be Slytherins, or can be assumed are Slytherin) are not prefects.
