So, I found this and the last one via a list someone put together. I think the person who put the list together is actually into Draco/Harry. Anyways, for today’s entry the writer actually does admit that the story is bad, but they’re writing this for fun.

Title: Draco goes to Space (to avoid Covid-19) but then finds romance where he least expects

If I didn't know better I'd have sworn this is a My Immortal style satire. But Poe's law is basically running the world right now.

Normally I'd give such stories the troll rating as anybody aiming for a My Immortal style story is normally trolling, but I have a feeling for this one the writer was actually being serious, nor are the spelling mistakes made up like other stories I've come across.

If it's not that, it's really young writers who think spelling badly is funny.

It certainly doesn't. There was a quote on To quote the TV Tropes page for the genre, "The easiest type of fanfic to write, and one of the hardest to write well." When I first tried my hand at the genre which was when I didn't even know what the genre was, yet had seen similar stories, I honestly didn't do that great of a job at it, but I still struggle with the genre.

It's also like the AU genre in that there are those who write it actually think that because they're writing for said genre that it shields them from any form of criticism. In this particular case though, since the writer is admitting it is stupid I think they also already know the flaws for this.
