"the deep, plush, cushiony airplane seat"
That's the most unbelievable part of the whole story.

I was sitting in first class.

That would explain the soft ass-cushion and the satin pillow.... then again I never travelled first class so I cannot tell how acurate it really is ;P

Um... why not go to a DIFFERENT school in the states? If I hadn't gotten into the all girls' school I applied to, I would have gone to the local school. I assume they have just regular wizarding schools that you don't have to "get in" to?

They weren't good enough in her mothers eyes. You know, "filth and scum" of the regular people and all that.

The idea isn't all that bad... and at least there isn't an abused!sue.
However, the prose was so purple i couldn't get past the first few paragraphs. Not every noun needs six adjectives afterward. Geeze.

Ack, adjective overload. Do we need to know the texture and hue of every freaking object that she comes in contact with?

Well, it's not the metric system, but at least she's paying some attention to canon!

*sigh* So many talented authors wasted on Sue stories. At least this one is too bad.
