You do know that half of the people from CoS are now Twilight vampires themselves, right? Oh, how the mighty have fallen! It breaks my heart.

There is a side effect to this, though, that is not entirely unpleasant. People are spending more time talking about books, even if they are tripe (granted, I cannot really judge as I haven't read said tripe myself...).

Yes, I know, and I can't for the life of me understand why. To me, the Twilight books are poorly written and feature some really unhealthy yet, glorified relationships. Bella is a HORRIBLE role model for young girls. I made a post on another blog that explains in better detail my issues with the Twilight series. Maybe I'll cross-post it here?

Have you tried Pandora Gets Jealous? It's a bit young, sorta like SS/PS but it is fun.....of course it's the first in a series, and who knows how it will continue.

Hmm...maybe I'll try it. Just today I was looking into the Gemma Doyle series, since I keep hearing people say good things about that.

Gah! Twilight - I'm kind of getting sick of it now. Mainly because of Meyer's sloppy writing and the fact that Bella always finds a way to get on my nerves.

Aye. She is such a damsel-in-distress. She is so dependent on Edward and Jacob it makes me sick. That's why I think she's a bad role-model for girls.
