Pre-PSAT time

This is me abusing the privileges of being an RTA. 24-hour internet access is a must especially if I want to do my work at insane hours of night. It's a fabulous essay. I'm saving it and if you have a newspaper at your school, you should definately submit it.

Think that some of the controversy surrounding integrating Spanish language into mainstream society stems from a subconscious realisation that white Americans destroyed Native American languages and cultures and that their own culture might face a similar situation. There's similar sentiments in Australia. For example, at the start of the year a federal MP wanred that Australia would be an Islamic nation in fifty years.

Humanity is constantly culturally evolving. Maybe my grandchildren will speak Arabic. Perhaps Spanish might become the official language of the United States. There's a cute section in Jon Stewart's America: Democracy inaction:

I was completely unaware of this entire "Nuestro Himno" debate going on. I had no idea that congress would dare to be so openly discriminative, for what can it be seen as other than discrimination? I agree with oogata, if given the opportunity you should publish this essay as it offers some points that I believe to be irrefutable. Aside from that discussion, because as much content as your essay had I really don't have much to say other than that I agree with everything you wrote, you're really an excellent writer! I should expect as much, what with you attending Lawrenceville and all but I'm still awed by even my own classmates' essays simply because writing was never my forte ( ... )
