PoT School Life

I think one reason I watched Episode 27 too many times is because I like seeing the characters' lives outside tennis.  We'll begin with Oishi passing by Kawamura Sushi on his way to school.  They are talking about getting up early.

Lol, love these pics, you really posted a lot! I really love that part of Tezuka. Correcting the teacher. Why is Tezuka so smart?! I'm jealous!
Lol, you really dislike Kirihara, ne? His cute first-years-face didn't help?

Captain Tezuka is smart, but I think somewhere, they said that the regular with the best grades is Oishi. I don't get jealous.

Kirihara is one of the characters I hate with a passion. The cute face doesn't help, because appearances don't matter to me. Once I know someone has a bad personality, no good looks are going to affect me. Besides, people should be punished for purposely causing harm.

I don't know, I think they're both brilliant XD I do get jealous, since my grades....suck >_<

I guess you're right about that, but seeing him as a first year made me want to hug him XD

My grades suck, too, but I don't get jealous. You can say I never get jealous, because it is blaming my mistakes and misfortunes on others. I learned to suppress jealousy years ago because I didn't want to be seen as irresponsible and self-centered by blaming things on others.

I like cute things, but when there's personality involved, it takes a much bigger priority. To tell the truth, if I know that a cute person has a bad personality, that person will not even seem cute to me.

Thanks! I'm glad you don't think it's too much. Some people complain if others talk or post too much.

Beautiful posts! I agree with Tacuma, Tezuka is too intelligent. TT_TT I actually need to study for exams (which I will have in 12 hours).

Oh, hum, does the Tezuka and Fuji studying together in the library scene in episode 176 counts as "academics"? XD;;

Captain Tezuka is smart, but I think somewhere, they said that the regular with the best grades is Oishi. Still, there are scenes where they are studying.

Sorry I forgot about that scene and which episode. It does count. I think one reason I forgot is I don't like to watch the last few episodes because they're too sad, and I hate the U.S. Open thing. I'll try to add it in this entry or another entry.

Many people seem to like Captain Tezuka correcting the teacher on his geometry or physics problem. Even the teacher seems afraid of him.
That is one of my fav scenes. I laughed so much when I first saw it. XD

That scene kind of made me nervous. I guess I felt the teacher's shock and fear. When I was a child, I also corrected teachers on mistakes. I thought Captain Tezuka could have raised his hand first, then point out the mistake when the teacher calls on him. From elementary to high school, if we stood up and talked out like Captain Tezuka did, we got in trouble.

Yeah raising his hand probably would have been better. Normally we would get in trouble here too if we did that. Although I never quite understood why the teacher was afraid of Tezuka.

I couldn't understand the teacher being afraid of Captain Tezuka either. That is illogical. Was the teacher afraid of making a mistake in front of students? However, he was already afraid before Captain Tezuka pointed out the mistake.

I remember some people said that Captain Tezuka was rude in that scene. I did find his behavior OOC there since he is polite and always following rules. I don't know why they couldn't have him raise his hand, have the teacher call on him, then he goes up and tells the teacher about the mistake.
