I liked them both in the musical and movie, but unfortunately I don't care enough about Meg to hate what she became in the sequel.

I loved them in the first one so much, it really breaks my heart how their characters were treated so badly in the sequel.

I honestly don't even know the plot of the sequel, I'm almost too afraid to know.

yeah you don't....lol... And after reading the book LND was based off of (phantom of manhatten) I will say I liked the books version better because it didn't screw up the characters like Andrew did with Raoul and the Girys and I still loved them in it. It was a different bad guy and it wasn't the Girys.

I agree. I loved the Girys and always thought they were Christine's surrogate mother and sister.

Their portrayals in LND was complete and utter character assassination.

Yes.

I know. I wish he'd kept it the same as the book instead of doing something so out of character to the Girys.

And WTF Raoul? Really? Really? That was not in any way, shape, or form Raoul de Chagny. He was never my favourite but he was a stand up guy who really did love Christine.
