Feel free to add me as a friend to keep up with the story!

I usually reciprocate the friend request; however, if you are particularly keen to have me add you back, or if you do not wish for me to friend you back, then please leave a comment.

I've never known why anyone would keep dreams really. You can not miss what you don't know exists. And dreams are just wants forever out of reach.

And yet it is the human condition to dream, even knowing that it is not real or obtainable; especially knowing it's not real. And so I dream on ever searching for a way to literally turn dreams into reality. And despite finding only ash and bitter memories, I dream on never comprehending why I still do so.

I apologize if you find this comment morose. I never know what to write on these "Comment to be added" posts. The thought of writing something so cliched as "Hi! Friend me." or one of its various incarnations is enough to make me gag. So I simply decided to post the first thing that came to mind and might accomplish the task at hand. I do hope you don't mind overly much.

*quietly adds you as a friend*

Thank you for the sweet message you sent! I lost a whole computer's worth of information a month after my last update, and it's not going to come back... but I'm working hard to rewrite it all!

I am completely distressed to hear that you have lost information! LOL because a while back something like that happened to me too and it was the worst thing ever. Now I back up my stuff obsessively although sometimes I am shocked that I still manage to leave things out - for example, when I've just written a whole chunk of things on any given day and proceed to go to sleep without backing it up. V dangerous.

*adds back*

Okay~ Keep working hard :D I hope everything goes well.

I love having hard copies, and I'm an obsessive diary-writer, so most of my stuff ends up doing a back-and-forth between the written page, the computer, back into my journal as a printed page, written notes/annotations, and then back into the computer. But as you say, stuff slips through the net, and when it does we're left cursing ourselves for not having the foresight (in my case, I lost an entire nearly-new computer because I never insured it, and ended up spending three times what insurance would have cost on a new one... which I have still not insured >_<)
