just wanted to let you know, i don't pop into livejournal that much anymore but i added all my LJ friends to google reader - anyway, long story short, but whatever you just did to lock it down appears to have done something else entirely... (my google reader just popped up with 1000+ entries from your journal in reverse chronological order, the top was stuff from 2001 where you talk about listening to "your napster" and everything, awesome)
anyway. just figured you'd probably want to know that that stuff doesn't seem to have gone private!
Ugh, yes I've heard about this from another friend of mine. I didn't privatize entries, but set them to friends-only. The only thing I can think that happened is if I was already in someone's Google Reader (you didn't recently add me, did you?) it re-posted all the entries since they were "updated". Or something? Basically it's really annoying and I'm looking into it. Thanks for letting me know it's a more widespread problem than I thought...
