Request: 2. Fic. Exploring a (platonic) relationship between Sanada and Niou. Could be a development over the years (but not extending beyond the current time in canon) or an excerpt from some sort of event. Bickering is muchly welcome.

I actually read this two days ago, but didn't have time to comment then, so I apologise for the lateness.

But wow! It may not have been what I expected, but it was interesting to read that Niou was shy as a child - I'd always imagined that he was vicious every step of the way. Their dynamics were great though, Niou pranking to get attention and all =]. Sanada changing from a silly, smiling boy (which is the most adorable image of him, ever) is intriguing.

And last but not least, the part I particularly loved was the description of what three people couldn't do together. That summed up the feeling of being the third wheel so well.
