Sometimes I wonder WHO did invent all those crappy shoes that kill feet.... I love flat shoes, too.

I have a different voice when speaking english, too.

That is a VERY interesting question about voice vs language... I know I speak Russian and English differently -- different pitch, volume, etc. -- bu-ut I don't know how much of that is due to language itself vs the fact that I speak English and Russian to different people in different circumstances...

Now I really want to ask the couple of people who have heard me speak both in comparable environments/situations to see if they still notice a difference then...

I would say my voice is higher, except for when I use Italian. Then it is about the same, since I started learning some of it at age 8.

Hmm, that's interesting. I started learning English around the same time, yet my voice is still higher when using it. I wonder if it has to do with the types of differences between Chinese/English and English/Italian.

Word, that's my shock transfer so far, as well. Like, he's one of the players I'd never expected in the Bundesliga at all, and now he's suddenly playing for us, and it's just... still kind of surreal? Also I'm still a bit torn between "eh, why???" and "wow, how awesome is this???".

I'm slightly pissed we almost got the same group as last year (and I was suddenly glad Pilsen didn't qualify this year, because otherwise we'd probably gotten them too, ugh), because eh, boring. (And not just us, Dortmund and Schalke are at least playing their same Premier League opponents from last season, as well). And not even boring as in, at least it will be easy. I just hope we'll survive the group stage and it'll get more interesting from there.

Oh, that reminds me I haven't checked how the shoes for autumn/winter look this year yet, and I'm not even sure if I want to, because I swear there have been years I couldn't find a single pair of boots without heels, and yeah, it's so frustrating. I mean, it's not even like I don't wear shoes with heels, ( ... )

Yeah, I'd always thought he'd retire in La Liga, so for him to be with us now...idek. This transfer window has been pretty !!! for me.

I'm kinda annoyed about the draw, too. And yeah, when I saw Arsenal and Dortmund in the same group, I was just like...again? Same with Schalke and Chelsea. Though have you read that UEFA is planning on changing the seeding for CL? So that league champions in the 7 highest-ranked leagues + defending CL winners are the top seeds? I think that would actually change up the groups from year to year...I'm definitely tired of always drawing the same groups over and over.

ikr, idg why manufacturers of women's shoes seem to think that women don't need to walk in these shoes? >_>

I hadn't noticed a difference in your voice when we met up for that final....though granted, I only heard you speak like one sentence of German. XD A wasted opportunity!

Yeah. I mean, I wasn't prepared for much, especially not with our transfers, but then a lot of things just happened???

Oh, I hadn't heard about this, but I really like the idea. I'm not a huge fan of the club coefficients, especially when you go further than the top 5 (Stuttgart is like 30 places ahead of Wolfsburg there, and that's just so far off from how they currently perform that I have no idea how they can justify this system, and Schalke is still somehow placed higher than Dortmund, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN DURING THE LAST FOUR YEARS?). And apart from the "fairness" factor, I just really want different groups for once. :P

Honestly, and there most be women who design and produce shoes, as well, so why is WALKING not at least one of the main points they consider?

Haha, okay, I guess it's kind of hard to judge from one sentence.

Heels annoy the crap out of me. I usually can't wear anything with a high heel over 2 inches.

I can wear them, but then I can't walk as quickly or for as long as normal in them, which to me just makes them pointless, haha. XD;; My only 'nice' pair of shoes atm is a pair of wedges with a 3 cm heel, haha.
