Day 06 - A song that reminds you of somewhere



Shakira - Hips Don't Lie. This song will always be associated with the summer of 2006 for me, sitting in liljay464's car, the two of us young and heading off to uni for reals and thinking we would always be like this, young and carefree.

In Germany cheese and ham and such things are normal breakfast items! In France, however, it's normally coffee with bread and jam. People are usually horrified when they hear that in Germany you eat cheese in the morning, that's totally un-French ;-)

Yeah, cheese on toast is more a teatime food or even a late-night snack, in my book! Tho I have seen people eating it for breakfast on TV... What's more surprising to me is that you clearly had never seen it before. "Toast with cheese" ;) ...I'll stop that now lol cos I know it's annoying. XD

Oh yes they were mainstream, but chavs like mainstream music! Anything r n b or urban, that's chav music! So Shakira, Beyonce, Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna, that sort of stuff! Oh and shit dance music like David Guetta and that lol. XD And happy hardcore! Oh, the list goes on...

Aww, poor thing! I don't know, I've come to appreciate grilled cheese on toast in recent years, but not for breakfast. I'm thinking the typical American breakfast has come to be either something at Starbucks or nothing at all, but I've always liked to eat scrambled eggs and some fruit if I have the time to prepare it.
