I still remember with fondness the masked ball I went to where a couple had to be nominated as the king & queen of the ball, and we actually ended up with the king & the other king. *g*

I meant to see Hot Fuzz but didn't. I guess that'll be a job for rental when it's out on DVD.

Hot Fuzz was a great film! Absolutely enormous hit here too - Simon Pegg can do no wrong. Though it didn't quite go in the direction I expected, towards the end. ;) Heh, the subtext, though? Closer to text, really. I mean, I'd been somewhat prepared for it by reading reviews in the paper/hearing them talking on the radio etc - but still. We were killing ourselves in the theatre! XD
