I don't necessarily dislike the book, but I don't really like it, either. Mainly because it was summer reading for school, and the beginning was pretty slow. It's okay, but it's not something I'd read again (or request/write fic for).

Ah, I see. Yeah, the beginning is very slow, but the rest of it is so stunning. I think a lot of people have a hard time getting over the fact that it's a book about rabbits. lol.

Yeah, the about rabbits part sort of killed it for all of my classmates. I do agree that it was quite good once it got going.

Eeee! So thrilled you liked my Henry V story. It actually was a pinch hit, but I got so into the idea it turned into a labor of love. So hearing your lovely comments is very gratifying.

This year's Yuletide caused an exponential increase in the Fables fic that has been written by people who are not me. And obscure fandoms can make one paranoid about their writing ability.
