You know, I keep trying to be wowed by this video, but I'm just not feeling it. It seems one dimensional and not very cohesive compared to her epic story arcs. There's such amazing promise in the intro section, but it just .... there's no follow through. I hear that it's part one of two, so I'm hoping that there's something marvelous that pulls it all together.

Maybe I'm just being grumpy? What are you loving about it?

I hear you ... it's not immediately apparent (or I could be prejudiced now to love all things Gaga). I'll write more later, but, just perhaps some context that might open the video up a bit

Love it, but it reminds me a lot of Madonna's Express Yourself song/video.

Very much so ... the whole song sounds a lot like Express Yourself, which I think was purposeful, especially given the shot of Gaga at the end with the Madonna gap in her teeth.

Amazing that Express Yourself came out 21 years ago.
