SUMMARY: Eridan wants to meet the alternate Sollux. Poorly-received flirting probably ensues.

He knew Feferi had warned him about going to the reservoir, or rather warned him about boats, but that didn't really discourage him from wanting to go. He still figured it would be better to go with company in case something did happen. And yeah, Eridan was a murderous douchebag from what everyone else had told him... but he still had the same blood color as Tavros. He can't really look down on him that much as a fellow seadweller. He's just going to have to be cautious around him.

Oh, he's here. Cool.

Sollux swims to the surface quickly, popping up out of the water nearby where Eridan stood.

"Hello."

Eridan eyes Sollux up and down, looking a bit nonplussed. "Hey."

He adds, after a moment of awkwardness, "You look way too much like Sol, down to the fuckin' stupid bifucated poppycock. If I didn't know better, and seein' as you're not outright goin' for my throat upfront, I'd say Fef was pullin my fin again."

He did shuffle up to the water's edge, but not any further. Fuck, as if he was going to get his shoes wet.

"Wow, you really know how to win someone over. You can just fucking leave if you're going to stand there and insult me."

Rolling his eyes, he sinks a little deeper back into the water. Feferi was right. Eridan is practically hydrophobic. That's kind of funny, actually. It's tempting not to spash Eridan.

...Maybe he will, if he keeps acting like this.

"Cod, sorry I said anyfin. I was just tryin' to-- hey... how do you feel about fish puns anyway? 'Cause I got a ton of 'em. I mean if you're up for that kinda thing," And even if Feferi wouldn't be happy about it. Actually, thinking about her in the context of staring right at a very Sollux-y troll is a bit upsetting, and so Eridan scuffs at the gravelly beach with one shoe.

This whole thing is really kind of weird.
