WHO: The return of Sonlux and Dadkat.
WHAT: FEELINGS HAM. (<= that was supposed to be "jam" but I like this one better.)
WHERE: Sollux's respiteblock in Trollhouse.
WHEN: A while after the adult troll dramafest.
WARNINGS: Feelings. Swears. The works.
SUMMARY: Sollux and Dadkat has lots of feelings and they need to discuss them.

He really wasn't sure where he was going when he left his own room-- there wasn't really anywhere to go. He had ...sort of left the safe confines of his own room, which was, it being his room, about the only place he could get any amount of privacy. He ran his hands over his face and eventually found himself in front of Sollux's door, and frowned for a long time at it.

He hadn't talked to the kid in a while.

Well this was as good a time as any, he figured, and it gave him something to focus on that wasn't the sick feeling in his stomach or the girls he'd left in his room. He reached out and knocked on the door, quietly, and frowned at his feet.

Sollux was working on his laptop, and was a bit surprised at the knock. His first guess was Feferi, but then again, why would she knock? It was her room too.

So instead of bothering to try to puzzle it out, he called, "what?"

What indeed. What the hell was he even doing here? Sollux had more problems than he had hairs on his head, he hardly needed to deal with Karkat's current state of mind. He squinted, and considered just walking away.

"...nothing," he said after a minute.

And then promptly realized that he should have just walked away, because who the fuck knocked on someone's door, waited for them to respond, said "nothing", and then walked away? Good going, Karkat.

He blinked. There was the brief confusion over the voice - it was Karkat, but which one? How deep it was made determining that fairly easy though. Older Karkat. He would have said 'not his Karkat' but he wasn't sure that was strictly true anymore.

He flicked his wrist, pulling open the door with psionics, and stared at the older troll from his seated position on the bed.

"...'Nothing'? Seriously, dude?"
