TEAM RED: PREPARATION AND LURKING.

[Team Blue has already entered the HQ, and the only thing left to do is wait for a signal. If things go well, they won't need your help at all, and the best thing you can offer at the moment is vigilance.]

[Because the second you become necessary, your role is critical: getting Team Blue out alive.]

[Batman is not being a very good team player. While he's keyed into the communications and is offering helpful advice however he can, he's also stationed himself away from the rest of the group, performing surveillance from an alternate (assumedly rooftop) angle. And while he's open about what he's doing and where he is, he also has a private encrypted line to Red Robin on Team Blue... just in case.]

[ Like it or not, you've got a shadow, Batman. Because Jubilee doesn't exactly enjoy operating on her own, and hey, Batman doesn't seem like the chatty type. That's perfect.

The plan is we wait for little miss astral projection to get her spectral ass back inside her comatose meat sock so she can tell us where the others are, and then we get in there and we stop everyone else from dying horribly. That's the plan.

[ooc: occurring just before the ambush, where Team Blue has reaches an access point to the network.][The moment they reached the access point, Sollux had his computer out and was connecting to the system, tapping away wildly at the keys as he attempted to break the encryptions. The infiltration thus far has gone smoothly enough - they've gotten where they need to be, and as far as Sollux can tell, the greater Capekiller structure hasn't been alerted to their presence

[Rose leans over him. Unexpected side effect of their combinatory experimentation; she can feel the failures, tingling in her palms.

She's unwilling, on principle, to sacrifice all the effort they have put into this madcap enterprise; but she's nevertheless aware of the passing seconds.

[He's still trying as he speaks, trying as many new things as he can thing of, but nothing is doing what he needs it do. This is hitting his ego pretty hard - he'd thought that failure at this aspect was more or less an impossibility, but now...]

[And he captchalogs it. There's a good chance he'll never see that thing again, but it's the best he can do at the moment.]
