SUMMARY: Peter is worried about the sudden snow in Truth or Consequences, so he has Pixie take him there so he can give Pamela her gift early.

The camp was a neat little affair. A nice tent and a makeshift lab had been set up, though a tarp had been somewhat haphazardly set up over that. Pamela was grumbling and stomping around the campsite in jeans and a light coat, carefully brushing snow off of the surrounding plants.

The dog was aware of Peter's presence before her, poking his head out from the tent and giving a greeting "Wuf."

Pamela turned and blinked, surprised to see him, "Peter. What are you doing here?"

As soon as she asked, Peter felt a bit sheepish. He had sort of traveled most of the way across the country to hand deliver her Christmas gift, which in retrospect might have seemed excessive. Except that he really liked Dr. Isley and was worried about her with how cold it had gotten here.

"I came to give you your present," he said, holding up a neatly wrapped package. "And to make sure you were doing okay."

That took a few minutes to sink in. It's been... awhile since someone's brought her a gift. At least of their own free will. She reached out to take the package.

"I see..." she said, smiling a little, "Well, I'm rather cold, but otherwise perfectly all right."

"I figured you might be, with the snow and all," he said. Actually, he had been downright worried, which is why he hurried to finish her present.

"Which is why I came early with this," Peter said, handing her the coat he had modified and wrapped for her. "Open it now!"
