Kara was still confused about what had happened to her. She knew that she still needed to apologize for going crazy and for fighting those people. She just couldn't do it right this moment.

Fortunately (sort of) something more immediate caught her attention. Fires and practically all out gang war in New York. This was a good distraction for her. Fires and bullets couldn't hurt her, so she thought this was the perfect job for Supergirl.

Kara decided first she would take care of the burning buildings, evacuate them at super speed, then see if she could carefully put the fires out with her arctic breath. After that, she'd go see what this gang war was about.

Blazing as they were, the fires were little match for the icy breath. Deprived of their heat and air, it was only a matter of time before the fires Kara targeted were little more than smouldering shadows of their former selves.

He wished he knew more about Azula's plans, but... Well, with her level of literal insanity, it probably wouldn't make a lot of sense. Not that Azula hadn't proven herself very tactically fit. But that wasn't the point.

Armed with a fire extinguisher and a less-than-spacey sword, both strapped across his back, and various other weapons, Sokka headed for the chaos. The plan? Cut off the head, and the body will perish.

He imagined there'd be minions, though. Lots of minions. Even insane-Azula's gotta be big on people doing the dirty work for her.

It wouldn't be Azula if she didn't have minions working for her. Though in this case, most of them are unaware of this fact.

Shots are ringing out from shattered storefront windows - mostly males and a couple of females shooting at one another. One lights a cloth on fire and tosses it into the street. It's super not effective and lands without causing much damage.

The gun thing's not good. He's got to skirt around people shooting at one another, running at all angles to avoid being a target and incapacitating whoever he can. It's basically whoever comes within arms length of him, as... Well, knife to a gun fight.

Then there's avoid fire and... Stomping out ineffective rags. At least their aim wasn't always the best. Thinking positive.

He'd just have to keep himself free of holes long enough to get his bearings, to figure out how to stop this, who to talk to, even if it didn't bring him to Azula. Actually... Avoiding Azula would be pretty fine with him.

Every person he directly encounters gets something akin to, "Tell me where your leader is."

Most of the people Sokka speaks to aren't particularly helpful, or speaking coherent English. Most of them are actually quite angry that someone would dare to try and hit their boss, and kept asking if he was from one group or another.

Of course, there are, among the men, several girls who run off before Sokka can get close enough. Almost disappearing into the shadows. Most of them don't look much older than the Water Triber himself.

She was still tired and a little hurt from the fight with Kara. But it was an infinitely minor thing in the face of this newest disaster. She didn't differentiate between one side or the other. If someone was hurting someone else, she stopped it.

Bullets ricocheted off of the bracelets and the sound of flesh hitting flesh followed by the duller thud of unconscious bodies hitting pavement. Guns and knives left twisted into useless hunks of metal on the pavement. She was a streak of activity, tireless and intent, flying straight into burning buildings to pull out the people trapped inside without a moments hesitation.

And then suddenly, smoke begins to come out of a building. The smok of a fire being put out. Shots began to ring out, repeatedly and rapidly. Then there was screaming, and people running right towards Diana...and throwing their hands up. The sudden cause of this slight turnabout comes in the form of a slow, hulking shadow in the distance, menacingly casting itself on the frightened mobsters who try to shoot it down without success. Sparks fly off, but little else happens upon impact, and the gangsters and shooters flee from the building they had taken cover in.

At least if people were going to be afraid of him, Sonic reasoned, he might as well use that to his advantage.

Once all of them had run away to throw themselves at Wonder Woman's - or any other nearby superhero's - mercy so that their lives would be spared from the killer robot, Mecha Sonic suddenly sprinted over to the Amazonian ambassador and gave a quick, casual greeting with his hand.

"YO."

At times, a shorter figure in black and gray joined Diana, twisting and lunging amidst the bullets and fighting. As smoothly as Talon fought, he couldn't help but think it would go a hell of a lot quicker if he started using the leftover guns. Even if it were just to shoot people in the feet! But he didn't dare, particularly not with Wonder Woman around.

In the back of his mind, he was thinking: if I were a psychopath pyrokinetic who ostensibly set the city aflame, where would I be? Somewhere safe. Somewhere high up. Probably a building off the island, but with a front row view. That still left too many buildings to search, and anyway, it would be almost impossible to get off the island at this point.

Unless. ... Well, the hospital probably needed those helicopters.

This was his luck, wasn't it? He finally, finally hits a smooth patch in his life and suddenly he's throw into a new dimension where Tony's drunk, his alternate self is a brat, he's unmasked, and now, now, New York was on fire. This was as close as wanting to take a call into life sick day as Peter even had, and he'd had a few in his day. But, as his tagline said, responsibility calls.

There were too many people to deal with in a good ol' fashioned bit of gratuitous violence, which was almost too bad, because he could have used some, so he stuck to webbing up any problem causes his spidey-sense led him to and leaving them for the cops to sort out. Getting people out of the burning buildings took precedence, and a Spider-Man armed with a perfect air filter and radar was just the man to do it.
