Forgive me, but I was listening to the news while in the shower. A lot of hooplah about Prop 8 in California. A guy who was interviewed said something pretty amazing, "They do not recognize a distinction between civil marriage and religious marriage." Agreed.
Garrett has also come to similar conclusions about unions.
What will it take for us to open the eyes of the rest of our citizenry?

... and I do. I think that here in America, your premise that "we're supposed to have a secular government" couldn't be more wrong.
