I've always liked Marilyn Monroe. She has this very two-fold nature whereby she is at once very sexual and seductive while being very subversively bright and cunning. Most people look at me strangely when I say that.

Yeah, it's weird how sometimes things (read: people, music, movies, whatever) can be popular and high quality at the same time, like they got through because they were good instead of merely being on display.

Yea. I had a feeling they were going through the divorce, too. But it just seemed like the obvious route =]

Did you know it's the only screenplay he's ever written? I went on imdb to hunt down any other films because I enjoyed this one so incredibly much (I mean, really, one of my favorite films of all time.. and I've seen about 2,000). But there weren't any others (besides plays that had been converted to the screen).

Damn.
