There are very few things I hate more than chopping onions.  I would clean toilets all day to not have to do it.  My eyes are so sensitive.  You know how you maybe tear up a little and your eyes sting when you chop an onion?  That's what happens to me when I put on moisturizer with sunscreen in it.  Chopping an onion, even with sunglasses on and ( Read more... )

I'll try that, although I think I probably won't need to chop them again for quite a while. Those were HUGE onions. I needed an extra container.

OMG, I don't mind onions so much, but same same same for moisturizer with sunscreen in it. If I had to use it regularly, I'm pretty sure I'd just say to hell with it, bring on the melanoma.

Seriously, it's ridiculous! But I figured out that Bert's Bees day moisturizer doesn't sting (no sunscreen), and then I can put something with sunscreen in it on over that -- most days. Some days it's still irritating and I end up late for work because I have to sit around my house, blind, waiting for my eyes to stop tearing up before I can leave.

That's a good idea. I'll have to check out the BB moisturizer next time I run out.

I do that with garlic, but more because I use so little of it, there's no point in keeping more than a jar around. (Because it makes me sick for days if I have more than a tiny bit.)

I don't recall seeing the frozen chopped or pre-sliced ones. Hmm.
