I have updated the member and memory listings. You'll notice that I deleted over half the community members. If you were removed and wished to stay, please leave a comment and I will add you back to the community ( Read more... )

Hi there...I meant to comment to your other post but time got away from me. I would like to start exchanging again so I would like to stay a member please. :-) Maybe the community will get to hopping again. It was really fun then. :-)

Ack -- I've already removed you from the community and your address from the memories. I've sent you an invitation so that you can rejoin... you'll have to post your address again though.

I have some free time on my hands, so I decided to update everything and hopefully will be able to breathe some new life back into here. :)

I was just wondering (and I don't mean to be troublesome - or ask for special treatment) ... it's just that I exchange maybe between 50 and 100 postcards each month. Seriously. (And as aside, there are some that exchange even more than me!) I don't know about anyone else, but it's really impossible for me to keep track of which people are part of which community (some of the people I exchange with are members of other communities I belong to as well) and then make a post about it. The people I am sending to know I'm active so are you really going to make it mandatory that we list each person we exchange with?

Because, if it's a rule that's going to be enforced to the letter, then sadly, I'll have to discontinue my membership here :(

Well, I used to exchange 100+ cards a month (I currently have over 5,000 in my collection) across different websites, and I never had a problem posting. Some people make a post with all the names, regardless of the community, and just cross-post it to make it easier.

The only way to increase the overall exchange in here again is for the community to be active, and that won't happen if people don't post. As for listing each person, that's not a requirement. It would be nice, but it's not a requirement. Just posting to say you've received cards is all I'm requiring.
