Waking early, Rosmerta spent her morning paying her respects to her parents, who had passed away that day. She always left some flowers and whiskey by the headstone as a token of her love for them. After she returned, she spent the rest of the morning rearranging tables and chairs for a band that she hired to come and play traditional Irish music all day.
They arrived a little bit before the lunch rush and were well on their way to making, what should have been a sad occasion, festive and fun. Rosie had a special of Irish soda bread and potato soup as well as half off ale and whiskey drinks. As the band played, Rosie was bouncing around and dancing to the music, in the hopes by celebrating life, she would be able to honor her parents in death.
