Summary: Millicent comes to gossip with the barwench.

After a long day at work, Daphne was emotionally exhausted. In fact, more than that, she was quite angry with her mother. They had had a row at the office and, while Daphne gave in, as the obedient daughter she was, she still harboured resentment toward her mother. Rather than say anything to her right away, Daphne resolved to do her best and prove to her mother that she was not only her daughter, but a capable, intelligent, and hard-working young woman. Her cunning and prowess would reveal themselves in due time.
Daphne changed her clothes and headed down to the pub, waving to Rosmerta as she tied on her apron and headed out to the bar. Tonight was her night to tend bar and she intended on making lots of tips... after all, that was her sole source of income considering the apprenticeship with her mother was gratis and her hourly work at the Three Broomsticks paid for room and board only.
"Drink?" Daphne asked curtly, looking up. "Think I may need one myself. D'you mind?"
She poured a couple shots and placed them on the counter.
