"Kreacher, I'm going out. It will just be Master Harry for dinner tonight," Hermione said as she took some Floo Powder and called out her destination.
At Malfoy's flat, Cookoo met her and told her Draco was not home. Hermione should have realized that it would be a short while before he finished at ap Hywel's. Malfoy didn't start his apprenticeship until noon and worked with his master until six, where Hermione was at the Goshawk's early every morning and out at four unless she was in the middle of something with W.H. and they decided to work late.
"I'll wait. I'd like some juice if you don't mind. I'll also be staying for dinner, Cookoo," Hermione told the elf before making herself comfortable. After her boots were off, she curled up on Malfoy's sofa with her new book of fairy tales. She was so engrossed with her reading she didn't even hear Malfoy come in until he spoke.
