RP: An Egg in the Basket

"Thank you, Kreacher. I'm sure Draco will appreciate it, too. He loves those lemon bars. I think it's okay to serve more than chicken though. I have seen him eat other things," she said. Malfoy had been right. Kreacher did have chicken on the brain.
"He really likes pizza. Perhaps we should use that recipe I found in my cookery book some evening. Harry likes pizza, too." Hermione added a blanket to the basket, then tucked that into her satchel along with the large jug of hot chocolate and a few other supplies she thought to bring along for their trip. She'd been very surprised to learn that Caladrius would lay eggs this time of year but her research mentioned it being one of the magical bird's adaptations for competing against other wildlife for nesting spaces.
Her broom was in top condition. Harry had been nice enough to teach her how to take care of it properly and Hermione had spent some time doing maintenance last night to make sure it was good shape for the flight from Grimmauld Place to Norfolk today. She had her new goggles and she thought to bring along her omnioculars for when they arrived. Now all she needed was her companion and to put on her coat -- which she preferred over a cloak for flying -- and she'd be ready to go gathering Caladrius eggs.
