RP: On the way to breakfast

Two days until Hogsmeade. Four days until the train back home. 9 days until Orla came over to the dairy. Dennis woke that morning feeling considerable less stressed then the previous days. While the holidays were just around the corner, all the professors were giving out tests and he personally had 3 long term papers due that week, but not today. In fact, he only had one class that day, which meant he got to sleep in a whole 20 extra minutes.
Deciding to do some work in the library that morning, Dennis headed toward the Great Hall for some food. Hmm. Pancakes and bacon. Just thinking about food made his stomach grumble. He picked up the pace on the stairs when they jerked and began to move. He stopped and waited for the stone stairway to stop. While he waited, he glanced at the portraits on the wall.
Most were just waking up there were a few that were moving around. Dennis smiled as he watched them interact with one another. His eyes moved to one with three women sitting at a table having tea. Watching them lift up their cups and take a sip, he could swear they all made faces at him. Soon they were spitting out their tea shouting at one another. A crowd began to gather underneath the portrait as one rather large lady tossed down her napkin, exclaiming, "There is INK in this tea!" She stormed off to the next painting.
Dennis started laughing as he turned toward the Great Hall and he wasn't the only one. Several other students, even a few of the other portraits, including a ginger. Catching the ginger at of the corner of his eye, he thought...but it couldn't have been. He shook his head as he walked toward the Great Hall. Those paintings are a little crazy.
