He sipped the tea, noticing it had a hint or two of mint before becoming speechless. He knew his mother did not approve of Leanne, but to openly accept her was shocking.

"Really?" he asked almost spitting out his tea. He took another sip, shaking his head as he did so. "I mean, we haven't discussed dates or anything..."

She smiled, watching him drink his tea. "Of course,dear. Just because you wish to marry someone not of our status, doesn't mean will lower our heads." she said, putting her cup down.

"Are you free to talk about this now or do you need to head back to the office?" she asked, hoping he would stay. She could keep a better eye on him if he stuck around the house.

He should probably go back to the office,but he was afraid that if he left his mother would change her mind.

"I would prefer to say and talk with you. Do you need to get back?" he asked.

She shook her head, she had her assistant clear her schedule for the afternoon. since she wasn't completely sure how long the tea would take to become active. She was hoping for at least a few hours. She needed that window in order to keep herself out of suspicion.

"we are connected by Floo. If there is an emergency, they will get me." she said. "Finish you tea, dear."
