Lately, I've felt like staying in touch with the world so I've been reading LJ the last couple of days. Maybe that's because I feel that in 56 days I'm going to be cut off from the world as I know it and starting all over, again ( Read more... )

know of any not to expensive place to get a manicure/pedicure up there? I've been thinking about doing it, but haven't yet partly because I don't want to go by myself.

I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I moved up here, and sometimes still do. You're such a people-person that I'm confident that you'll have a friend in no time.

I should be able to, I've already asked off at work, so it shouldn't be a problem
