I was looking at the catering info at the Anatole, and it is... pricey. Ahem.

I take it we'll be trying to go out and find some bars, music, inexpensive but good food? Do people have suggestions?

I did a little poking the other day, and there seem to be other places around the hotel: a diner, Denny's, and other fast food joints. Not that all of those can be defined as "good food," but I think we'll have options.

I'm so glad you mentioned this because I hadn't even thought about it. EEEK! ::runs to count dollars::

Okay, I'm all for the wandering beyond the hotel's choices alone.

I didn't even bother checking. It was always a basic assumption of mine that hotel food would cost an arm and a leg. So I'm assuming we're venturing out. I just have no idea where and figured we'd plague the natives for recs. *g*

I vaguely looked at one time, and figured it's a big hotel - they'll charge the captive audience rate, which is always sky high.

Well, if there was a good deli close by, I'd suggest we all band together, get fresh bread and fillers and then picnic each day. It's always cheaper that way. :)
