Hello all-
littlelizzyann got me into this fandom and now I've got her to go with me to Portus this coming summer. Yeah! (I figure the more I spread that around, the lower the chances are of her backing out.) I'm a newbie to the convention scene, so I'm very curious and excited about the whole thing. I do hope that there'll be some SSHG get-togethers ( Read more... )

So tempting- but money is a real problem right now. I'd love to share a room. I won't know until the spring if I can scrape it together.

Money is definitely an issue for me, too. I'm trying to implant Portus firmly in my head now in preparation. I hope you can come!

Can't help you on the roomie front, but just thought I'd ease your worry about get-togethers. Yes, there will be at least one "official" get-together, and we'll post details here as we find out. And I'm sure there'll be plenty of spontaneous SSHG squeeing, too. :-)

Gah! I'm not sure if I'll be going (yet). I'm trying to figure out how I'm *getting* there and back. Plane tix are out, unless I win the lottery sometime soon. I'm thinking about driving. 1300+ miles one-way...

As for me, I'm in my early 40's and aslo require a good jolt of caffine before becoming fully human in the morning :D

And yeah, I have a lot of stuff for costumes, masquerade balls, and anything else that may come up.

I will know for certain by April.

This is great! The GS100 crowd is staying at the Marriott courtyard on market center blvd. It may be cheaper than the anatole and it's just across the street.
