Two weekends ago I walked the 25 minutes from my end of Newtown to the back end of the old Tooths Brewery (aka CUB Brewery) site on Broadway (a stalled major apartment building project) to attend the sustainability fair in Chippendale. Aw man, the goth festival sounds lovely. So are you going to go to the knitting group? An innercity knitting circle would have to be reasonably hip.

This weekend was apparently VegFest but I didn't go... too busy w/ the hockey and halloween stuff. And of course it's getting too chilly for outdoor festivals now.

I am indeed going to the knitting circle - it's led/chaired/spoked by a gay guy who was most enthusiastic about the pleasures of knitting & exchanging ideas and sharing problems, etc.

I cd do with some of yr cold weather - we had 35C & humid yesterday, & altho cooler today, is about 95% humidity. I hate being sticky! And how can I even look at my knitting?
