I know! I'm on the other end of it over here. I heard this on the news driving home from the supermarket with my kids and I was literally in tears. I still can't believe that there are such evil people out there that would plan something like this. We're still bruised from last summer here so it's hard,y'know. And yet I can never forget watching 9/11 unfold on my t.v. - I'd switched on just before the second plane and really thought it was a film.

My husband was due to pick my in-laws from the airport this evening from their holiday - now I'll be doing it tomorrow instead due to the cancellation of their flight - thank God that's all we'll have to deal with.

Hope your family members get off okay. And please say a prayer from me on Saturday.

How can they self-justify something as inherently evil as mass murder? I can still remember watching 9/11 on the news, and watching the second plane crash with this weird, surreal, detached feeling, like it was something out of Die Hard or some Schwarzenegger flick. It was too big to feel real. It took me probably a year to deal with how angry I was at the world after that ( ... )
