I dragged 40 pounds of books over to Pulp Fiction on Main St. yesterday, only to have them buy two titles, basically reducing my trip to $8 for an hour's work. Boo. Then, on the long walk home, after a lovely streetside conversation with BJ, one of my cart wheels snapped off. Double boo. Bloke in a pub told me the other night that the market for secondhand books across the counter - in either direction - has never been worse. So it's just as bad over here, apparently. Which is depressing.

I thought you'd get a decent chunk of GST/HST that would pay yer tax bill.

Good stuff.

If people vote 'No" in order to keep the HST (messed but true) there's gonna be a $175 rebate to most people in the province.
Bicycles will still be taxed more than they were. I'm dithering on that one, myself.
