I asked him to dinner after the shoot and he said sure, so we took him to a weird little diner and found out we have friends in common.

He's a programmer in Seattle, apparently, just like lots of people I know. More importantly, his work is related to video games, which makes for an even thinner slice of people, and one I'm more familiar with than I have any right to be.
